- Qualifications we look for are

  • Diploma/Degree in DSW (preferred), SSW, ECE, TA, CCW, RN, Psychology, or equivalent;
  • Experience in s support worker role: Working with people to achieve personal goals and outcomes;
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal, non-verbal, and written;
  • Ability to work on-call casual staff working a variety of shifts including days, nights, evenings, and weekends; 
  • A valid Ontario driver’s license and access to a vehicle;
  • Computer skills;
  • Standard First Aid certificate is an asset and required within the first six months of hire; and
  • Acceptable Vulnerable Sector Check.
